Being that Apple is phasing out the rotating drive based iPods (only the 120GB iPod Classic remains as of now) what do consumers have left to look forward to that offers a similar capacity/price ratio as Apple moves forward with the iPod line.
For that I predict that at or around mid-2009 Apple will release a 64GB or higher capacity iPod Touch. Hopefully this will be accompanied with a 32GB iPhone complete with new hardware such as improved casing (eliminating that cracked case epidemic going around), new wifi, bluetooth, and cellular chips, and better battery life.
This is my first official (may be my last) prediction so let’s see what happens. Everyone has to start somewhere and there’s my one for the year. Just having fun with tech is what it’s all about.
