Project Ara. The modular smartphone is an interesting concept yet I still find the whole idea a bit messy. Components require drivers, which means the OS needs them before installing the component in order for it to work. Then there’s the thickness of the device itself. I haven’t really been following it therefore I have lots of questions with no answers. So I’m going to watch the upcoming conference which is today. If your as curious as I am check out the second Project Ara Developers Conference live here. Hopefully, most of my questions are answered.
