If you’re looking to sell or just pass down your old iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to anyone even if it’s just a family member or trusted friend you should always make sure all your information is properly erased from the device. So, here’s a few simple steps to ensure your information stays your information.
Goto Settings >;; General then scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Reset. Then choose Erase All Content and Settings, if a passcode is enabled it will prompt you to enter it. Once done, connect your device to iTunes, and select to fill the device with random music. Repeat these steps at least twice to ensure a secure wipe.
